The Creative Champion Collective exists to reclaim the soul of culture by restoring the rightful place of creative people in society—not as entertainers on the margins, but as visionaries at the center. We are a beacon for thriving human creativity through the ecosystem of artists, patrons, ambassadors and mentors.
The 4 Community Pillars
Artists "The Bards"
Live from your creative essence
and be sustained by the art you’re
here to make—without compromise.
Ambassadors "The Mythweavers"
Be a part of something meaningful,
magical, and bigger than yourself—
and to be recognized and rewarded for your natural enthusiasm.
Patrons "The Mythkeepers"
Leave a lasting legacy by supporting
art that uplifts humanity, transforms culture, and awakens the soul.
Mentors "The Luminaries"
Pass on your hard-won wisdom
and legacy in a way that uplifts others without hustle or burnout.
The Spark That Ignites a Movement
The Creative Champion Collective was born from Matt Maes’ lifelong journey to break the “starving artist” spell—an inherited cultural myth suggesting that creativity must be sacrificed, minimized, or confined to the margins. Throughout his career, Matt created mythic artwork that profoundly moved audiences, yet he continually witnessed how little support, structure, and understanding existed for artists striving to make a sustainable living. His work in mythic storytelling, neurodivergent leadership, and creative empowerment revealed a powerful truth: artists are not lacking talent or passion—they are lacking a community and infrastructure built for their success. A major spark came from a line spoken by Willy Wonka and rooted in Arthur O’Shaughnessy’s ode to creators: “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams.” To Matt, this wasn’t a metaphor—it was a mandate to build a world where creators could actually thrive.
The CCC emerged as the blueprint Matt wished he had—an ecosystem where artists receive mentorship, exposure, financial pathways, and collective momentum. It synthesizes everything he has learned through his artistic journey, academic studies, and collaborations with creative communities. The Collective reflects Matt’s core mission: to erase the starving artist condition, elevate creators to their rightful cultural stature, and build a living global network where artists, collectors, ambassadors, and mentors co-create a future defined by creative power, purpose, and prosperity. Ultimately, it stands as a living embodiment of that Wonka truth: a home for the music makers, the dreamers, and all those bold enough to imagine worlds—and bring them to life.
